On Wednesday 14th January, Year 3 and 4 enjoyed an exciting and enriching wow day Coventry Cathedral. In the morning, the children took part in a fascinating guided tour where they learned about the cathedral’s history and explored key Christian beliefs, including salvation, incarnation and reconciliation. They also took time to reflect thoughtfully on our school values for this half term: hope and collaboration.
In the afternoon, the children showcased their creativity through art activities inspired by the cathedral. They studied the beautiful baptismal stained glass window by the font before creating their own artwork, and had great fun designing gargoyles using collage. It was a memorable day filled with learning, reflection and creativity.
