One of our Christian values is collaboration and this work demonstrated this value in bucketfuls.

As part of Geography, Art and Book Week, we looked at the stunning picture books of Jeannie Baker, including Window, Belonging, and Where the Forest Meets the Sea. These visually rich stories link closely to the National Curriculum for Geography, helping children to explore important themes such as environmental change, urban growth, deforestation, and how humans interact with the natural world.  Each illustration is a collage, which we tried to replicate.

Do you like our windows?  We looked at images of Harbury- past and present. Thanks to the support of the Heritage Centre for this and then created a 'view' from a window similar to those inspired by Jeannie. These will become a permanent display in school.
