PTA

PTA Logo-2Hello and welcome
Harbury School PTA works closely with school and families to raise funds to enhance our children’s education and overall experience of being at Harbury School.

The PTA annually funds additional classroom resources, pupil book bags, Year 6 leaver’s books and BBQ as well as Christmas entertainment. In addition, each year the PTA raises money for specific larger-scale projects.  In recent years the charity has funded the Quiet Area gazebo in the Infants’ playground, purchased new computers for the junior IT suite, updated all the audio and visual equipment in the school hall and provided webcams and iPads for the children and teachers to use. In September 2014 the PTA paid for the installation of a new all-weather play area with play equipment which has been an exciting addition to the school. The focus in 2015/2016 is to further enhance the computer equipment in school to support changes in the National Curriculum.

Money is raised through school and community-wide events as well as ongoing fundraising initiatives.

Who can join the PTA?
The PTA committee at Harbury Primary School consists of a group of committed, enthusiastic and talented parents and teachers; working together to raise additional funds that help enhance our children’s learning experience and make our school a very special place to be.

The committee is always grateful and welcoming of new ideas and support, so if you’d like to get involved or find out more about what we do, then we’d love to hear from you. The committee has representatives covering both our infant and junior classes and many of us can regularly be found on the school playground after school, so please do come and have a chat.

Alternatively, we are always contactable via email at: HarburyPTA@outlook.com
