The PTA annually funds additional classroom resources, pupil book bags, Year 6 leaver’s books and BBQ as well as Christmas entertainment. In addition, each year the PTA raises money for specific larger-scale projects. In recent years the charity has funded the Quiet Area gazebo in the Infants’ playground, purchased new computers for the junior IT suite, updated all the audio and visual equipment in the school hall and provided webcams and iPads for the children and teachers to use. The focus in 2017/2018 is to raise £30,000 to buy a new computer suite for the school and play equipment for the infant playground.
Money is raised through school and community-wide events as well as ongoing fundraising initiatives.

The committee is always grateful and welcoming of new ideas and support, so if you’d like to get involved or find out more about what we do, then we’d love to hear from you. The committee has representatives covering both our infant and junior classes and many of us can regularly be found on the school playground after school, so please do come and have a chat.
